Hi there! Welcome to the Millie Holloman Photography blog. Our company has just one name, but we’re an entire team of crazy, creative, passionate, professional photographers. We’re based all over North Carolina (Wilmington, Raleigh, & Charlotte), but we work all over the world. What do we shoot? In one word: Love. Wedding Love. Baby Love. Family Love. Love of details. Stacey and Bobby are getting married in September. One of the best things about being a photographer is that you have the chance to meet so many great people and learn about who they are. When we started chatting with Stacey and Bobby, Brent and I learned that we have so much in common with them!
Stacey and Bobby met at a Christmas Party, but only in passing. Stacey must have left an impression on Bobby, because they were later reunited in the hall at college and Bobby remembered her right away. They have been together ever since! They love to watch movies, play with their dog Captain, and just enjoy life (which is so like Brent and I). We even learned that we attend the same church (it's a big church with several services and we've already managed to find them again in the crowd).
Brent and I decided to take them to an abandoned home that we found while searching for shoot locations. We thought it had a lot of character and we knew it would be fun to explore. We even found an old fire truck and incorporated that into the session as well! It was a blast and we can't wait to be there on there wedding day. Oh and one more thing...they are getting married where Brent and I were married almost 3 years ago. CRAZY!

| I love the way the vines were creeping up the side of the house any which way they wanted. I wonder how long it will take for the plants to over take the whole house? |
| The old fire truck we found was so cool and we were even able to talk Stacey and Bobby into crawling in it for some really fun shots. I am sure this fire truck has seen better days but we definitely brought it back to life! |
| When Bobby holds Stacey in his arms she looks safe and content. In Stacey's words "we are meant for each other because I fit perfectly right here". To hear Bobby tell it is also really sweet, "I've always wanted the kind of girl that clenches onto you when the killer jumps on screen in a scary movie or wipes my face when I accidently get a little salad dressing in my beard, well, I found her!" |
| I really like the door knocker that was on the blue home. What an awesome declaration for the family who lived there at one time and for the family and friends who came to visit. Of course, we added a small (or big) detail with the ring! |
| We decided to play around with some lighting and see what we could do. It was one of Brent's favorite parts of the session. He loves that flare! |

| Stacey and Bobby brought their dog Captain along for the session too. They said that when they show each other affection, Captain gets jealous and tries to distract them. He is so adorable! |
